Hearing Preparation and Coaching

Get help and prepare confidently for hearings in the Alberta Court of Justice civil matters (up to $100,000). Whether it's a simplified trial, regular trial, settlement conference, or other court appearance, going to court can feel overwhelming—I provide personalized coaching to help you present your case clearly, stay organized, and feel ready.

Many people represent themselves (or use an agent) in these courts, and good preparation makes a big difference. I guide you through what to expect, how to organize evidence, and how to speak effectively without giving legal advice.

What My Hearing Preparation & Coaching Includes

- Reviewing your documents, evidence, and key facts to help you spot what's strongest and what needs work

- Explaining the court process step-by-step: what happens in a simplified trial (often 1–1.5 hours), full trial, pre-trial conference, or mediation session

- Coaching on presenting your story: how to organize your testimony, what to say (and what not to), courtroom etiquette, and addressing the Justice clearly

- Preparing witnesses: tips on how they can give straightforward evidence, answer questions, and stay calm

- Strategy for time limits: especially in simplified trials where you need to fit your case into half the scheduled time
